Step 2 - choose the software
Once the photo is captured, it needs to be stored, along with the person's details. Photo ID software combines a database for data storage, plus badge design software, to allow you to design the layout of the card. Software can also enable automatic encoding of the magstripe, proximity and smart card.

Before you buy
If the cards need to function with an automated system, they need to include the necessary reading technologies.
If the card carries a reading technology, a card reader can be used for user verification.
