Databac Group, specialist provider of identification solutions, has
launched Spanish language editions of its 32-bit photo ID software suites
Dataimage Professional and Dataimage Visitor. Dataimage enables
high-quality card printing and encoding, thereby integrating card
personalisation as a function of corporate IT infrastructures. Dataimage
Visitor allows the effective management of visitors, contractors and
temporary personnel. The releases answer to increasing demand from
Databac's client base in Spain for reasonably-priced, feature-rich,
Spanish-language solutions for photo ID and visitor control.
Databac managing director Charles Balcomb said: "Our customers in Spain
have expressed a need for affordable Windows-based photo ID and visitor
systems in Spanish. With Dataimage and Dataimage Visitor, we can bring them
a fully-featured solution for card production and visitor management that
comes in under €1000."
Dataimage features a user-friendly, customisable interface and operates
with multiple databases. It can be fully networked and has a biometric
module, FingerCheck, to allow digital fingerprint storage and verification,
for high-security applications. It boasts a host of image manipulation
tools, allowing users to enhance ID photos, company logos and other images.
Image capture is live via a USB camera. Features include:
- Multiple databases
- 32-bit ODBC compliance
- WYSIWYG card design module
- Automatic encoding of magstripe, contact and contactless chip cards
- Step-by-step installation with user-friendly on-screen help menu.
Dataimage Visitor's features include pre-booking via intranet, visitor
insert design and printing and auto-scanning of DNI details via an optional
carnet scanner. The Spanish edition features auto-deletion of visitor data
after 30 days to comply with data protection regulations.
The Spanish-language editions of Dataimage and Dataimage Visitor will be
distributed and supported throughout the Iberian peninsula by Databac
Group, S.L., and will soon be available in South America.
