Databac Group, specialist provider of identification solutions, will use
SICUR 2004 as a platform for the first public showing of its new,
Spanish-language photo ID software, in combination with a range of direct
card printers. These will include Datacard's new SP55 desktop duplex card
printer. Visitors to the stand will be able to see how a card can be
printed and encoded in just 30 seconds, in full colour. They will also see
how the Visitor edition of Dataimage simply yet securely logs visitors in
and out of a building. An inkjet printer attached to the system prints
visitor inserts in seconds, complete with optional barcode and health and
safety instructions. The FingerCheck biometric add-on module will
demonstrate the ease of fingerprint capture and verification.
Databac is an official distributor of Datacard products and is
able to offer highly competitive prices to both end users and resellers.
The newly-launched SP55 printer offers professional quality card
personalisation for all sizes of companies. In duplex mode, it prints up to
115 full-colour cards per hour. Smart card, magnetic stripe, barcode and
proximity options enable multi-technology cards to be created with ease.
The SP55 comes with an 18-month standard depot warranty for both the
printer and the printhead, with no prorating or card counting.
Databac will also show its full range of cards, featuring a variety of
technologies, including magnetic stripe, proximity and smart card. In
addition, a wide range of accessories will be on display, from clips, yoyos
and printed lanyards, to vinyl pouches and rigid card holders.
