Rewritable and long-lasting cards will be the focus of the Databac Group
stand at Cartes 2006. Data ReWrite and TOUGH card will take centre stage as
ID specialist Databac's top-of-the-range cards for rewritable and long-life
applications.
Recently launched by Databac, Data ReWrite cards are ideal for use as a
promotional tool in loyalty schemes and bring massive cost-savings to
visitor ID and other applications with a fast, high turnover of cards.
Shown in conjunction with Datacard's new SP25 dual card printer, visitors
will be able to see the speed and quality of card printing, erasing and
reprinting. Data ReWrite can be erased and reissued more than 500 times*.
TOUGH card is Databac's 100% polyester flagship product for high-end direct
card printing. Boasting excellent dye absorbtion, print results are
outstanding, with sharp resolution and vibrant colours. Databac constructs
TOUGH card using layers of PET, making it extremely flexible, fully
recyclable and, above all, durable, with an average lifespan of 10 years.
Both TOUGH card and Data ReWrite card can be tailored to client
specifications, with a choice of reading technologies, pre-printing and
security options and are compatible with all leading (rewritable) card
printers.
Databac will also showcase its full range of ID solutions, including
Dataimage, its popular, multilingual photo ID and visitor management system
for designing, printing and encoding cards. Dataimage securely encrypts
photos, signatures, text, graphics and biometrics for fast verification.
Also on display will be Databac's card accessories to show how cards can be
protected, displayed and stored.
