	Code: DG-SOTPSW		Rimax Staff On Time Palm Scan Window A new concept in contactless biometric technology, Palm Scan is a secure, fast and above all user-friendly solution for access control and time and attendance for up to 2,100 users. Palm Scan uniquely reads the lines, scars and wrinkles of the palm and uses it to build a map unique to the user. This enables ultra-fast verification from subsequent scans of small portions of the palm. Operation is as simple as holding the palm up to the reader, with no user training required. Rimax Palm Scan is part of the Staff On Time family, so Staff On Time software (see below) is included. Palm Scan Window features 10 ultrasound (contactless) keys, which can be programmed to identify activities like lunch breaks in time and attendance applications or to add pin codes for access control, eliminating the possibility of false positives. An LCD display, together with an audible signal, informs users whether they have logged in or out correctly. The terminal can be placed behind a window, making it ideal for banks, hospitals, prisons, police stations, etc. Palm Scan Window includes the Staff On Time Control Unit and Web Server module, for centralised administration and data storage, and secure web-based data access. Its 10-digit keypad has keys which need to be pressed, making it suitable for indoor use. This attractive-looking terminal manages up to 2,100 users and can be wall-mounted. 	Code: DG-SOTPSO		Rimax Staff On Time Palm Scan Outdoor Rimax Palm Scan Outdoor is similar to Palm Scan Window and Indoor, but is unique in combining voice recognition, palm print verification and motion detection in a single, multi-layered solution that offers unparalleled levels of security. Palm Scan Outdoor also manages up to 2,100 users and comes with Staff On Time software (see below). Operation is remarkably simple. The reader is activated when it detects movement within a range of 20cm. The system then plays a voice message requesting the person to say a predetermined code word, such as a name or date of birth. The spoken code is checked and, if accepted, another message requests palm verification. The person simply holds his/her palm up to the reader to gain entry. The whole process takes seconds. Designed for outdoor use, Palm Scan Outdoor can be mounted in a hermetic terminal, making it vandal-proof, weather-proof and hygienic. Palm Scan Outdoor is ideal for use in prisons, banks, airports, hospitals and military installations, as well as housing developments, golf clubs, industrial estates, car parks and other areas where security is a prime concern. 	Code: DG-SOTPSEC		Rimax Staff On Time Palm Secure Rimax Palm Secure is among the safest, most reliable technology available for biometrics time and attendance and access control. It consists of a scanner that uses short (almost infrared) wave reflection to capture an image of the network of veins in the palm of a person's hand. Oxygen-free haemoglobin in the blood absorbs part of these waves, allowing a pattern to be built to make an image that is ultimately captured. Veins have an infinite number of characteristics that distinguish them. It is extremely difficult to falsify them and assume a fake identity, since the flow of blood is necessary for capturing the image or pattern. Palm Secure manages up to 2,100 users and up to 4,200 vein scans (two per user), and comes with Staff On Time software (see below). Staff On Time software Included with all SOT terminals and systems, Staff On Time software allows each employee to link to a work schedule or timetable - whether on a full-time, part-time or flexi-time basis - and can include all national holidays. Staff On Time software works with codes. Codes can be assigned to user groups, such as department or other category. In the same way, codes can be established for activities like client meetings, doctor's visits and lunch hours. By programming the keys on a standard keyboard or a SOT terminal keypad, an employee can log a client visit with a couple of keystrokes and a fingerprint scan, identifying himself, his department and the reason for leaving the premises. Staff On Time software enables an organisation to analyse the productivity of its workforce. The administrator can generate a variety of reports ranging in complexity from total working hours and incident reports, to full productivity reviews by individual or department. Data can be exported to any Microsoft application (CSV compatible with Access and Excel). Data security is inherent, with password protection, different access levels, security backup copy and full database recovery. Staff On Time software consists of three modules: The Admin module is used to store and manage the Staff On Time databases, including fingerprint, timetables and holiday allowances. The ID module logs and verifies the employees' entries and exits, each time their fingerprint is read. The Info module informs if the employees are present or absent, providing a list of who is in our out of the building using a green/red light system.
