Description

The Fargo DTC550 card printer / encoder is a versatile, reliable, card production workhorse that supports diverse applications throughout your organisation. It is equally at home in a standalone application or as part of a distributed or high-volume card issuing system. And it protects your investment by offering great flexibility whenever you need to reconfigure your ID card issuance system.

The DTC550 can encode up to three different smart card technologies, plus magnetic stripe, in the same pass as card printing and lamination.

The DTC550 can print edge-to-edge on standard CR80 cards. It quietly prints 133 full-colour cards or 500 monochrome cards per hour, making it ideal for large-volume and on-demand applications. It comes with 4MB of standard memory, while Print Security software restricts access to authorised users only. It has an Ethernet port and internal print server.

Great options for networking and lamination

Optional Ethernet connectivity and an internal print server integrate with existing enterprise networks, allowing for centralised or distributed ID card issuance. An optional lamination module adds an extra layer of security and durability that helps extend card life.
