FARGO PERSONA C16

The Fargo Persona C16 is an ideal mid-range, single-sided card printer, with full-colour, edge-to-edge printing at around 30 seconds per card (CMYKO). It has a spring-loaded, 100-card capacity card input hopper and an easy-to-read LCD display which shows information on printer status and other helpful messages. FARGO C25

The Fargo C25 card printer is a robust, edge-to-edge, dual-sided printer, which is ideal for a variety of card personalisation applications. The C25 can print on a range of card thickness (0.254 to 1.5mm) and sizes (width 53 to 67mm and length 82 to 98mm). It is supplied with drivers for Windows 3.1x, 95, 98, ME, NT 4.0, 2000 and XP. An optional USB-to-parallel interface cable is available for Windows 98, Me and 2000.

FARGO DTC300

The Fargo DTC300 dual-sided desktop card printer can print in full colour, edge-to-edge, on standard CR-80 cards of 20 and 30 mil thicknesses. It is designed for low to medium card requirements of , club membership, point of sale, loyalty, travel pass, access control and time and attendance.
Print quality is 300dpi at 16.7 million colours. The DTC300 is simple to operate and virtually maintenance-free. It has a print cycle from seven seconds (K) up to 27 seconds (YMCKOK) for colour on the front and black on the reverse of the card.
Tests by Databac's technical team show that the DTC300 can print onto HID and Indala proximity cards with great results, making it an ideal, lower-budget alternative to the HDP (see below) for printing onto proximity cards.
Standard features include the easy-to-load, single-use Smartload ribbon cartridge, which includes an integrated cleaning roller system, an LCD control panel, a 100-card input hopper, a 30-card output hopper and a two-year warranty on both the printer and the printhead.
The printer is single- or double-sided (specify at time of ordering). A field-upgradeable magnetic stripe encoder is optional, with factory-installed encoders / readers for HID proximity and contact / contactless smart card (HID iClass and Mifare - specify at time of ordering), which will enable cards to be encoded at the same time as printing. An Ethernet networking option will be available soon.
Consumables include the full range of colour and monochrome ribbons (black, blue, red, green, white, silver and gold).
Interface: USB 1.2 and 2.0. Drivers include Windows 98SE, Me, 2000 and XP.

FARGO DTC400

The Fargo DTC400 is identical to the DTC300 - it is either single- or double-sided - but, unlike the DTC300, the double-sided printing module can be added at a later stage. It also offers higher print security than the DTC300 thanks to the Ultraviolet print option. In addition, there are more field-upgradeable options available, allowing users to purchase the standard unit and add encoding modules and the duplex printing module as and when required.
The optional Print Security Suite is user-friendly software provides up to five powerful applications to help control, monitor, maintain and secure the system, for integrated security between the printer/encoder, software and materials. These security features include password control of the printer, security imaging (enabling covert ultraviolet features to be added to the card) and printer diagnostics. The 30-card output hopper can be upgraded to a 100-card output hopper. The double-sided printing module includes the 'e-card housing' necessary for the Mifare, HID and contact chip encoding options. The DTC400 comes with a one-year warranty on the printer and printhead.
Consumables include the full range of colour and monochrome ribbons (black, blue, red, green, white, silver and gold).
Connection is via USB. Printer drivers include Windows 98SE, Me, 2000 and XP.

FARGO DTC500 SERIES

The DTC500 series of desktop card printers / encoders can print edge-to-edge on standard CR-80 cards, from 10 mil to 50 mil thick, producing crisp, monochrome or full-colour cards quickly and quietly. The DTC510 / 515 (single-side) and the DTC520 / 525 (dual-sided) print 133 full-colour cards (YMCKO) / 500 monochrome (K) cards per hour, making them ideal for large-volume and on-demand applications. The Fargo HDP600 is a high-definition, duplex, retransfer card printer and encoder. Designed to print technology-rich cards, this user-friendly device easily handles the ridges and indentations caused by internal RFID antennae, integrated circuits and smart chips, without loss of print consistency. Fargo's patented High Definition Printing technology ensures that there is never any contact between the print head and card, so there is no chance of damaging the internal electronics of the card. It will even print right to the edge of a smart chip and can print over the edge of a CR80 (credit card size) card. Clamshell cards of varying thicknesses (0,76 to 1,778mil) are also handled with ease. Print time is less than one minute (YMCKO/transfer). Optional, field-upgradable encoding units (Mifare/HID iClass and proximity and contact smart card) are available. FARGO HDP800

The Fargo HDP800 series (high-definition printing) are re-transfer card printers, which provide exceptional print quality on a variety of card substrates. The print is placed onto a carrier film, which is transferred to the card, producing excellent results, with the print bleeding right to the card's edges. Graphics and text are printed on the underside of the HDP film, 'sandwiching' the image between the card and the film, resulting in durable, virtually tamper-proof cards. HDP printed cards do not leak colour onto plastic holders and are highly resistant to fading and chemical exposure. The HDP prints onto many cards, including standard, magstripe, proximity, smart and oversized cards. An output stacker and Fargo's SmartGuard™ smart card user key are also included.
