Mid-range reader

The Indala mid-range reader offers a read range of up to 30cm. Exclusive FlexSecur password-protected security between card and reader screens out unauthorised cards prior to sending access control data to the host system. Databac can encode cards and readers uniquely for each site. Available in a range of designs and colours. Outputs include Wiegand (26 and 27 bit and up to 172 bits), magnetic stripe and serial.

Classic reader

With a read range of up to 12.5cm, standard Indala proximity readers are suitable for a variety of applications. Including FlexSecur programming for added protection between card and reader, these high-quality readers are available in a range of stylish bezel designs (Curve, Arch, Linear and Wave), in a variety of colours and in three popular form factors: Classic, Mullion (Slim) and Wallswitch.

Long-range reader

The Indala long-range series is part of HID's latest line of highly-secure proximity readers. Including FlexSecur technology, it has a read range of up to 68cm (with a standard FlexIso card) and is ideal for parking and other applications that require longer read ranges. These high-quality readers deliver consistent performance with intelligent programming technology and an attractive Arch bezel design.

Keypad readers FP506/507

Indala offers two keypad readers: a membrane keypad reader and heavy-duty pinprox keypad reader. Both offer FlexSecur security. With a read range of up to 10cm, these readers are where additional layers of security are required, for example, laboratories or corporate research environments. Available in beige or black. Output: Wiegand, (magstripe) clock and data.

ASR readers (503 and 505)

Vandal and weather-resistant, the ASR-303 Mullion reader and ASR-505 Wallswitch reader offer a read range of up to 10cm using a standard FlexIso or FlexPass card. Designed to mount on a door frame (503) or wall box (505 metal single-gang USA electrical box) or a flat surface, they are suitable for locations that require a low-profile reader. Available in beige or black, they offers Wiegand and magstripe stripe output.
