Databac specialises in card manufacture. We make cards in a variety of materials. The most durable cards are those made of polyester. Our special constructions for direct card printing include TOUGH card, our flagship product, and DuraCard 100, both 100% polyester. For rewritable card printing, we manufacture our Data ReWrite card to client specifications. PVC is the most economical option for plastic cards, while polyester/PVC composites like DuraCard offer a good middle-of-the-road option. Lamination pouches, such as Polyflex, are ideal for manual card production. Of course, we provide paper cards for car park, conference and visitor applications, too.

We are licensed to manufacture cards incorporating Wiegand Wire and Watermark Magnetics technologies, both suited to high-security applications. We are also licensed to supply HID's iClass smart cards. Other technologies we build into cards include linear and 2D barcode, infrared barcode, magnetic stripe, contact and contactless chip, proximity (RF/ID), thermo rewritable surface and metalised core. More than one technology can be incorporated for multi-functional cards. Our cards can also feature embossing / tipping and braille.
