Dataimage Events
Dataimage Events is designed for effective event management. This easy-to-use registration and badging system combines a powerful database and search engine which stores both data and pictures. Dataimage Events can drive the entire events management process, from direct mail and ticket/pass printing to exhibitor data collection and daily attendance reports.
Dataimage Events is a proven product which offers a cost-effective solution for exhibition, conference and events organisers who want to take control of the registration / badging process. Dataimage Events is ideal for all sizes of events and can be provided as software only or as a complete 'turnkey' system.
How it works
With its in-built form designer, Dataimage Events will generate merge documents, exhibitor and visitor passes and end-of-show reports. It can be multi-installed onto a PC, allowing different databases to be set up for each event. While being fully customisable, Dataimage Events features popular, pre-defined database fields.
Pictures can be imported (BMP, PCX and JPG), which are automatically compressed, storing around 100,000 records on a 560MB hard disk. Photos can be captured live through the use of a digital capture card and CCD camera, or simply using a low-cost web cam. Similarly, a signature pad or biometric scanner will allow signatures and fingerprints to be utilised.
With its ability to store photos, high-quality name or photo ID badges can be produced using a range of card printers. Visitor, exhibitor and press passes or badges can be produced in black-and-white or full colour, incorporating text, logos, photos, barcodes, signatures and fingerprints.
Reading technologies
Dataimage Events can integrate with a range of technologies such as magnetic stripe and barcode. Cards can be swiped or read at entrances or at exhibition stands for access control and visitor activity analysis. Fingerprint technology can be used for additional security at sensitive events. Dataimage includes an internal barcode generator and can encode data automatically onto a magnetic stripe.
Dataimage is provided as a self-installable program. It comes with a range of pre-designed templates so users can work with the system immediately.
Event management service
Databac also offers a turnkey solution for event management, incorporating an online registration system, badge / pass creation, mailing and fulfilment. During the event itself, our team of event professionals can take care of on-the-day badge registration / printing and visitor access. Databac can train event staff and offers a range of equipment for hire.

A PIII / Athlon / Duron 1GHz PC running Windows 98SE, NT or 2000; 128MB RAM; 2GB free hard disk space; graphics card (800x600 16-bit res.); parallel printer port (two if running stand-alone text printer as well as card printer); USB port (not for NT).

When prospective buyers visit a stand, exhibitors need to be able to take their details quickly and professionally. With LeadScan, this is done electronically - just scan the barcode on the visitor's badge, and then simply add specific lead information from the barcode menu provided.

Delegates can be registered prior to the event and payment details captured for billing. During the event, scanning the visitor pass will log the delegate in and out.
