Dataimage Visitor

Dataimage Visitor enables rapid input of visitors' details, from personal data to special needs. The design module allows users to create personalised paper or plastic passes with logos, visitor and host names, company and date of visit.

Promoting a corporate image

With Dataimage Visitor's ability to store both textual and photographic data, high-quality name and/or photo ID badges can be produced. A range of inkjet and plastic card printers allows paper passes or badges to be printed in black-and-white or full colour, with text, logos, photos, graphics, barcodes, signatures and finger-prints. The passes can be displayed in clear or coloured vinyl wallets with clip, chain or lanyard, which can be stored in a pass dispenser. Databac can also personalise pouches, lanyards and yo-yos. How it works

Visitors' details are entered into the system, optionally with a photo, captured using any of a range of capture devices. When they subsequently enter or leave the premises, they are quickly time and date logged into the system by the operator. Passes can include a barcode, magnetic stripe or proximity module to automate the visitor log in / out process.

At times of emergency, an up-to-date evacuation list will detail all visitors still logged as being on site. In addition, the data can be interrogated and quick reports generated for management information detailing, for example, visitor history, peak periods and, of course, on-site visitors.

Health & safety compliance

Whenever visitors enter your premises, legally, they need to be provided with information such as emergency procedures and Health & Safety regulations. Our passes can be pre-printed with Health & Safety information and graphics such as a map detailing evacuation and assembly points in case of emergencies.

Getting started

Dataimage Visitor is provided as a self-installable program. It comes with a range of pre-designed templates so users can operate the system immediately. A customisable interface ensures that users can work in a format with which they feel comfortable. Minimal training is required and Databac will set up the software so the system is ready to go right from the start.

System requirements

A PIII / Athlon / Duron 1GHz PC running Windows 98SE, NT or 2000; 128MB RAM; 2GB free hard disk space; graphics card (800x600 16-bit res.); parallel printer port (two if running stand-alone text printer as well as card printer); USB port (not for NT).

Live capture: spare PCI slot for capture card. Networked versions: network card.
