Dataimage photo ID system
Card production can be automated entirely using an electronic photo ID system. Dataimage is Databac's offering and comes in three versions for different levels of functionality: Lite, Express and Advanced Edition. Dataimage allows customers to design and print cards in-house for use in a host of applications.
Cards can be produced in full colour, incorporating variable text, logos, photos - even barcodes, signatures and fingerprints. Its flexible design capability allows text to appear in any True-Type font, in any size, in any colour, while images can be captured 'live' or photos and logos scanned in and imported. Minimal training is required and Databac will set up the software, including interface and badge design, so the system is ready for use immediately.

To produce badges, all users need to do is enter the data, capture the image and print. Using a scanner, digital camera, CCD or camcorder, a person or object can be captured and frozen on screen. The object appears 'live' on screen until the desired image is accepted and saved. All information is printed directly onto the card using a card printer.
