Laser photo ID system
The Laser photo ID system is a semi-automatic card production solution, positioned between an instant and an electronic system. It comprises an instant or digital camera and perforated sheets, onto which variable information is printed for lamination into pouches.
The system uses Teslin™, a special, eco-friendly synthetic paper, supplied in A5 and A4 formats which can be pre-printed with logos, text and other graphics. Text, such as name, title and department, is printed onto the sheets using a standard desktop laser printer. The pre-perforated inserts are detached from the sheets and laminated into pouches.
To add photo ID, a standard passport photo can be laminated inside the pouch or a digital photo is printed directly onto the Teslin sheet.
