Visitor ID and loyalty are two areas where rewritable systems can bring huge benefits. Rewritable cards are made with a thermal recording material which allows them to be printed, erased and reprinted many times using a rewritable card printer.

Visitor ID

Visitor ID involves a fast, high turnover of cards. If you prefer professional-looking plastic cards instead of paper-based visitor passes, rewritable printing systems can bring significant savings, enabling you to reuse your cards. Using a rewritable printer, you simply print, erase and reprint cards for each new visitor. With 500 uses out of each card, there is minimal wastage. Its ribbon-free operation saves on consumables, reducing your environmental footprint.

Loyalty cards

Leverage existing loyalty, store or membership cards and turn them into active marketing tools. By adding a rewritable element to these cards, they can be used to communicate messages to your members and customers, for example:

Up to 500 new messages per card

Each time the card is presented at a terminal or at reception, the data on the card can be updated. You can print, erase and reprint personalised messages up to 500 times per card, saving on paper, print and postage costs involved in producing mailers.

Other uses - student, hotel, library, ski resorts

Hotel key cards can be personalised for each guest, as can ski-passes and other temporary membership cards. Libraries can benefit by printing lending lists with their due dates on the card each time a member visits the library. Student cards can feature timetables, while student photos can be updated as many times as the student changes their 'look'.
