Saiwall Secure

Description

Saiwall Secure is a biometric terminal for access control and time recording, using a sleek, high-tech palm vein reader developed by Saima Sistemas incorporating Fujitsu Palm Secure vascular technology. Housed in a vandal-proof casing with futuristic blue-red-green indicator lighting, the unit comes with a software developer kit which allows it to be integrated with existing automated systems.

Full time and attendance / access control software will be available shortly, turning the unit into a full system. In addition, Databac can provide the sensor plus ARM board, to allow the Fujitsu palm vein reader to be integrated into third-party systems.

Redundant security measures

Ideal for prisons, airports and military installations, Saiwall deploys multiple levels of security. Palm Secure technology captures palm vein patterns, a highly-accurate method of identification, while the system only works on detection of blood circulation. No physical contact with the unit is necessary thanks to MagicEye technology, while verification is conducted via secure VPN with a central server.

While no data is held on the terminals, an offline mode stores data in a buffer in case of power cuts.

Double verification

Saiwall Secure features an integrated RFID reader as standard (can be delivered without on request). Using dual-technology verification, the system reads the palm vein pattern, as well as the ID number held on the contactless card, so the user does not have to type it into the keypad. The system then checks against the person's record on the server for fraud-proof secure access to sensitive areas.
