Description

BioEntry Plus is an affordable, IP-based fingerprint access control device featuring easy installation and user friendly operations. Integrated with both a fingerprint and proximity card reader, BioEntry Plus covers a full range of access control applications, from simple, standalone door control to complex networked access control systems.

Multiple interfaces

It offers a variety of interfaces, including TCP/IP and Wiegand (configurable up to 64 bits). It also has an internal relay for a direct lock interface (standalone door control), as well as an external relay unit for secure door control and I/O expansion unit which encrypts data for secure reads.

Among its features are auto device search and synchronisation within a network.

RF card & fingerprint

Compatible with 125KHz, 13.56MHz Mifare and HID Prox cards, its operational modes include fingerprint, RF card and fingerprint + RF card. Template-on-card authentication means that fingerprint data is stored on the smart card, for easy fingerprint management without any privacy concerns.

Applications include:

  • Standalone access control for small offices.
  • Networked security for IBS buildings, financial and research institutes.
  • Simple time & attendance for offices and factories.
  • Data collection for customer reward management.

The reader can be used with BioStar software or can be configured to connect with third-party access control or time recording.

BioStar software

BioEntry Plus comes with a free version of BioStar Windows-based management software. The software enables Suprema devices to perform comprehensive access control functions including user management, device management, door/zone control, real-time monitoring, etc. This is upgradeable to BioStar SE software with support for 512 devices and 32 concurrent clients, anti-pass back, email notification, tamper switch, server matching and an I/O board.
