Using Databac's highly-secure UV security paper, these printers produce tamper-evident, photo-realistic ID inserts or paper passes for visitor and contractor control. Print times average three seconds, with resolutions of up to 2880dpi for high-quality black print. Variable-sized droplet technology and Ultra MicroDot ensures enhanced smoothness and detail.

Visitor pass inserts
The Databac in-house printing division can produce customised visitor inserts, pre-printed with a company logo and background colour, together with Health & Safety requirements on the reverse, for personalisation by the user with an inkjet or other office printer.

DILETTA VISA ID DOCUMENT PRINTER
Specialist seven-colour printer which can print perfect-quality, high-definition digital photos, text, machine-readable codes and covert images onto passports and other types of travel and identity documents.
With a resolution of 1200 x 600dpi and two specially-installed printheads using special ink cartridges, it prints brilliant colour, crisp black text and covert security features, in black-and-white, colour and invisible ultraviolet inks. An in-line lamination system option is available for automated production of passport and other ID credentials. This high-speed machine prints colour photos and text in only 20 seconds. The Visa ID Document printer is a perfect solution for printing large-format, secure ID passes for government conferences, sporting and outdoor events.

DATAIMAGE SMARTLABEL PRINTER
The Dataimage Smartlabel printer uses direct thermal technology for printing labels (with or without photo) for visitors, contractors and temporary staff. Labels are printed in just three seconds at 203dpi and these can include a barcode which can be used to log the person in and out of the building.
Smartlabel is a cost-effective printer, as direct thermal printing does not require any ink cartridge, ribbon or toner. Equipped with both USB and serial port connections, it is also easy to install. For multiple workstations, Smartlabel can be easily networked for use on a local area network. This printer supports a variety of labels, listed right, with paper widths up to 54mm. Dimensions are 168mm (height) x 114mm (width) x 190mm (depth). Weight is 515 grams.

Label backs
For a basic solution to ID badging, Databac can supply plastic and card badges, to which inkjet or other labels can be affixed. These come pre-slotted for lanyards, clips or other attachments with Health & Safety information printed on the reverse.
